BBC article about the Peace for Humanity Conference in London.
Moments like these are so beautiful to me and really showcase the best of humanity. I mean, it takes so much courage to stand up for something that you believe in, and to continue to do so even after receiving death threats is truly inspirational.
That being said, I do believe the best part of this event was that even though it did focus on Islam, it was still inclusive of everyone, no matter their race, religion or beliefs. After all, striving for peace really is a global endeavor, and one that should unite us all.
